Daisuke Suzuki provides field recordings and small bits of textured percussion (nothing all that intrusive, mind you!) for Chalk to work into the raintime miasma of smeared drone. Despite the tonal hues of sodden blues and mossy greys, Chalk manages something of a psychedelic application of the drone that is comparitively effervenscent when compared to the bass-heavy works like East Of The Sun.
