A few months back, Andrew Chalk had given out a handful
of CD-Rs of a soundtrack for a film entitled Vega to
a number of acquaintances. The Agency was lucky enough
to be a recipient of the CD-R; yet we were shocked to
see so many reviews of the album floating around, essentially
teasing Mr. Chalk's loyal fans with the knowledge that
Vega was such an exquisite piece of impressionist driftscaping.
Finally, Chalk has re-issued the album as a proper CD,
maintaining a similar packaging aesthetic as the CD-R
with its lace encrusted paper. Within, Chalk produces
an exception album through his mysterious clouds of
guitars and distant bells hang in a dark fog of jawdropping
beauty.
